Boom Bap Radio – Sept. 28, 2013

Peace Out DJ Disc

The Boom Bap Radio crew – J-Crush, Masta Talka, C.O. and Angry Engineer gather to bid adieu to local DJ great Kerry Asbury, who lost a long fought battle with heart disease. We honor DJ Disc and deal with all of the other less important issues of the world – like passing Syria’s gas; the looming government shutdown, possible defunding of the US Affordable Healthcare Act and the Kenyan Mall attack. Then we get all regional with the Hip-Hop and travel around the country sampling funky, funky beats. DJ Cool V, The Biz, Missy Elliott, Outkast; LL; Gang Starr; and Queen Latifah lead the way and yeah Kanye, we hollered at you, you big ol’ rock star! Hey Ted Cruz, would you like some Tea with your green eggs and ham? Oh shut up! It’s Boom Bap Radio.
